Chad is back at home after returning to Good Samaritan for four days of in-patient chemotherapy last week. He was down to 130 pounds! But he’s doing much better. He has his appetite back and is eating, growing stronger and re-gaining weight.

He is currently receiving daily out-patient treatment at the Cancer Research Center that’s adjacent to Good Samaritan.

First of all, thank you to everyone for your thoughts and support. We were able to gather over $400 in donations through this website thus far, which was incredibly helpful in helping Chad pay rent for September. He still needs much more help, so anything you can donate to help out, even if it is $15 or $20, will go a long way towards keeping his lights on and his cellphone plan activated.

Second of all, pencil November 11th on your calendars. A consortium of Chad’s friends have begun to do some serious work around organizing a benefit concert at Audio Cinema here in Portland on that date. There will be updates on this exciting development as news rolls in.
