Chad’s Memorial Service(s)
Hello,
We’ve determined plans for Chad’s memorial services. As of this point, these locations and dates are tentative, but they do appear fairly certain. Unless you hear on the contrary, consider these plans official.
First of all, Chad was such a large personality that just one memorial service is lacking. So there shall be two.
I will be either creating eVite or Google Calendar events for these services so we can get a clearer indication of what the turnout might be for these respective events. Please be on the look out for subsequent posts to Facebook, Chadschild.com, and emails that will announce the creation of these events, and please take the time to respond in kind.

Linda and Cameron Addy of Portland’s own belly, a wonderful restaurant in close-in North Portland, have graciously offered to host Chad’s Portland memorial service. They will opening the bar early for beverage sales, and after the memorial the restaurant will transition to dinner service for business as usual. If groups would like to break off and enjoy meals after the memorial, they are encouraged to do so.
Last spring, when Chad was starting to feel well enough to re-enter the workforce, Linda and Cameron hired him as one of the their original staff members to help open their new restaurant. I’m positive Chad would be overjoyed to have his friends gather at belly to pay tribute.

Chad’s parents, Linda and Michael Schild, will be hosting Chad’s memorial service in east Tucson, at Bistro 44. Bistro 44 is located at Camino Principal and Tanque Verde (the entrance to Tucson Country Club Estates). The service itself will be on the patio.
Bistro 44 is owned and operated by Sara and Rick Siegler. Sara is Chad’s younger sister. This will be a chance for everyone in Tucson to pay their respects. Chad went to high school in Tucson, and lived there until moving to Portland in 2002. In addition to Chad’s immediate family, naturally there are many people in Tucson who were touched by Chad’s soul.
