Andy and my Dad have kept me posted on your heroic fight these many months. I send all my prayers for you, your family and friends. As Andrew probably told you at some point, I realized I had a drinking problem 2 1/2 years ago (our Mother died in her early fifties of liver cirrhosis) My family and friends never gave up on me and held me up when I didn't think I was deserving of love and happiness. I tell you this because I have witnessed many miracles in my successful recovery and with others I have met along the way. I believe in them, I have felt them, and I know they happen! You have to work for them- and I know you are, but the love you have surrounding you is the most powerful thing you have! I wish you joy,serenity and most of all, that you feel the love and hope that all of the people you have touched in your life are sharing with you.
